What is a Double Bobcat pathway?
Double Bobcats pathways allow students to accelerate their progress towards a master's degree by taking graduate-level courses in the final year of their undergraduate studies.
Some students may begin taking classes in spring of Year 3.
What are the benefits of a Double Bobcats pathway?
Double Bobcats pathways allow undergraduate students who have finished at least 61 hours to take graduate courses, allowing them to accelerate the amount of time to earn a master's degree.
How many graduate-level courses can I take as an undergraduate student that will count toward both my undergraduate and graduate degree?
Undergraduate students accepted into the Double Bobcats pathway may count up to 12 hours of graduate-level courses toward both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.
See the Double Bobcats section policy: Enrollment in Graduate Classes by Undergraduate Students.
Courses completed in a Double Bobcats Pathway will be converted to graduate credit only if a student is fully accepted to The Graduate School at Georgia College and completes at least one term of graduate coursework, while remaining in good standing.
Who can participate in a Double Bobcats pathway? What are the criteria?
Students with a minimum GPA as set by each program (but no less than 3.0), will have completed at least 61 hours by the start of the pathway, and who are in Good Academic Standing (as noted in the Undergraduate Catalog policy) may apply.
Participants must earn an A or B (final grade) in all graduate courses and maintain an overall institutional GPA of at least 3.0 to remain in the program.
Check the Double Bobcats Pathways page for specific requirements.
